Actually,
The Obama camp has spent much more than that sealing quite a few officially (and usually released) records by their own accounting.
For example; 1. Obama's admission records and transcripts from Occidental College, and
2. Records and transcripts from the Chicago Law School, Harvard, and yes,
3. his original birth certificate.
As has been noted earlier, Hawaii does not release originals without the subjects consent and Obama has consistently refused to permit this release. It is very odd at best, since BHO has made a case that the drama surrounding this issue has been a distraction from more important affairs. As this is a direct constitutional issue, it would seem that the release could be forced by a willing court since BHO is definitely 'in the limelight' and not protected by the privacy laws of normal citizens. Can you think of a reason why he gets by without releasing all these documents? Would you have been so condescendingly assured if GWB had refused release of his National Guard records?
And for all the would be constitutional scholars, the line of succession is quite obvious; 25th Amendment, Section I:
"Section 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President."
