Default Maybe its time to form two new countries

I think groups like ACORN and IESU (??) and many unions have sensed that we have run out of unexplored continents on which to start new colonies. So all we have is what we have. Means that conservatives are trapped and they know it. More laws are passed everyday hemming conservatives in (while still keeping it possible to loot their pockets).

So, lets all meet somewhere, agree to dissagree, give half the country to the liberals and half to the conservatives. All the independents can live in "no man's" land (a reservation somewhere between the two new countries). Of course, each country would have to start over with a new constitution and set of laws. This would be a great opportunity to plug all the loop holes that liberals love to harp on about.

The point of this thread is to create a starting point to describe the creation of these two new democracies. For example, if I and my conservative friends in "Conservaland" found a liberal among us, would we simply deport him, or try him as a spy and a traitor? Folks in Liberaland have the same issues to work out. Who gets the defense complex? Who gets all the homeless and illegals?

BTW, we in Conservaland will be very carefull to not select a strict democratic form of government. We will clearly choose a representative republic. That is kind of a NOS idea.

Now, folks in Liberaland can create all the social programs they want. They can even have our malcontents.

This should be fun.

Mike

I think the independents should get Vermont. Seems to me that the most conservative Liberals live there along with the most liberal Conservatives.

And you're right - this might be a bit of fun.

Too bad - you should have taken the personal responsibility to have done it before now.

I'm fine with tossing Iowa and Illinois, but can we swap Indiana with...say, Michigan? Detroit is a toilet and could use the ACLU, ACORN and every Demo's hope for change. Indiana is the one state in the north half of the midwest with decent gun laws and my home , but while we're at it, can we re-draw Indiana's state line to remove Gary and Hammond from the state? Give those two towns to Illinois and we'll call it even?!

Since liberals produce nothing of value, they cannot exist without conservative wealth to loot and 'redistribute!'

On their own, a liberal nation WILL fail within 5 years, TOPS! Anything over 6 months would be a surprise!.

Conservatives and Independents can support themselves and get along nicely without liberals, Thank You very much!

Liberals cannot exist without "Somebody else's money," to support their lofty, Utopian, but ultimately stupid and impossible ideas.

SHHHHHH!!!! Don't let the cat out of the bag so soon! Now back to work building this new set of nations. Maybe California would be OK without liberals... but it has quite a stain on it now. I think too much Sun & Fun have made this possible. One reason I believe SO much good stuff comes out of New England is you gotta WORK to stay warm (and eat). I think Conservaland needs to have a preponderance of temperate climate states. Those in Liberaland will think they pulled one on us by getting all the nice warm and comfy places. It will work, I know it will! Heck, those in Liberaland will be begging us to come tour those states so they can tax us.

BTW, I have never understood why some liberals (at all) like cold and temperate places. Really phuks up my argument when I stop to think about it. Maybe its the higher institutions of learning and indoctrination? We can just move those to Liberaland and that could make them even happier.

As for the conservatives and liberals, since there ain't nuthin worth a damn east of the Rockies, the liberals can have all of that part.

I think Conservoland's government should be structured as a corporation.

Sure, you can have a passport and use it. That way you could be like Caleb and Joshua bringing back reports of grapes so large that they carry them on sticks between two men.

Mike

BTW, Hawaii and Alaska will be made apolitical. Mostly for resorts and vacations. They are not "continental" states. If you currently live there and cannot be apolitical, you must move to Liberaland/Conservaland.

How about this?

Red states are Jesusland and blue states (and Canada) are the United States of Canada.

Red states get all the farmland and oil, blue states get all the technology, industrial centers, and the biggest ports.

I like this idea...Conservaland. It should be the entire USA except for maybe the area around Colorado City near the AZ and Utah line. That's where all those multi-families live. They can have all the extreme libs. and eveyone else that doesn't want to produce.
After they go broke for lack of meaningful productivity and can't take anymore taxes from themselves, Conservaland will buy their country back and then deport them to Cuba.

Since only 20% claim to be republican anymore, then you only get 20% so go ahead and take Texas, and for good measure will throw in Alaska.

AS OF 4/2009

DEMOCRATS............33%

REPUBLICANS..........22%

INDEPENDENTS.......39%

Both Dems and Repubs losing members with Independents gaining.

So BOTH Democrapland and Repubicland would be merely suburbs of THE US of INDEPENDENTLAND!
