It's a Jon Stewart commentary on what exactly is newsy about Fox. He does manage to make a couple of valid points, especially about the definition of news vs editorial content as described by Fox. There are a lot of folks on both sides who just don't get the distinction.

And Bill, Media Matters is almost as bad a WND. And stay away from "What really happened" as well - they are even worse than WND.

Steve
Steve,
Thanks, I don't use media matters as source for truth in media, it was the only one I could get that clip from the Daily Show, I can't access comedy central from a government computer, and I have dial up at home, so it takes way too long.
I agree with others on here, that the media should be looking into government more closely, or for that matter out of control corporations,
but it will never happen, we no longer have any journalist in the media, it’s all infotainment. Some though, such as Fox are solely owned subsidiaries of the republican party, Yes MSNBC is political, but they don't lie about it, there motto is the place for politics, they don't try to deceive anyone as to what they are about, fox new on the other hand is a total fraud! fair and balanced my arse...

Kindly cite ANY proof that Fox is "solely owned subsidiaries of the republican party" or any PROOF that Fox is in ANY way actually CONNECTED to the Republican Party.

You cannot because your statement is 100% wrong!

B!tch all you wish about them being too far right for your liberal beliefs, that's OK. But lying about them being part and parcel of the Republican Party is flat wrong!
MSNBC is COMPLETELY in the pocket of liberal insanity, but no one is intentionally lying and claiming they are owned by the Democratic Party.

Lets keep it intelligent, shall we?

Oh please, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they get there marching orders from the RNC, it fallows verbatim the talking points put out every day by the RNC and it’s not just one commentator, its all of them 24/7
get off your high horse and pay attention! And yes of course MSNBC has a liberal slant, they never have denied it, at least they are honest about it.

They also put down the POTUS and other Democrats that don’t do what they were elected to do, when was the last time Fox bashed a Republican? Oh they did, the one from New York that was forced out because she was to moderate, when she backed the democrat, they were all over her.

Fox is certainly conservative but you are way off to think they represent the RNC. They happen to be the only one that leans that way and liberals can't stand it, the left has had the obsequious media elite for years. To say that MSNBC has a liberal slant is like saying it gets cool in Alaska in January. To say they are honest is a joke, if they were honest they would say they are the place for liberal politics, they don't they pretend to be unbiased political news. The CNN reporter lost it on air and said that the Tea Parties were anti Obama, anti CNN so much for unbiased. The media elite won't ask Obama the hard questions that they should be nor will they report on the leftist on staff at the White House, like communication director,Anita Dunn who said Mao Tse Tung was one of her favorite philosophers. Imagine a man responsible for the death of at least 70 million admired by this White House, what a sad day in America.

I've had it. I only highlighted some of your errors...sentence structure, lack of puncuation, etc. throughout this post.

I've warned you numerous times...the Lounge is for intelligent discussion, and you are slowing down the rotation of the planet by making the reader decipher just what the hell you're talking about while you blast everyone else.

Take some time off...I'll decide when and if you come back (it might be awhile). Go to school...third grade I should think.

Don't like it? Good.

They also put down the POTUS and other Democrats that don’t do what they were elected to do, when was the last time Fox bashed a Republican? Yesterday, the day before, and the day before that, and they will again tomorrow! But since you do not watch, how would you know,,,,,,,,,,,,,ANYTHING? Oh they did, the one from New York that was forced out because she was to moderate, when she backed the democrat, they were all over her.

Is this your long involved bullsh!t way of saying that you have NO proof to back up your ridiculous statement? Everybody knows liberals live in dreamland, seems you have a summer place in fantasyland too.
