Ernie, maybe you could use a borrowed personal car lift to load cars in your truck.
The one we have has a wheel kit that allows it to move outside on the driveway apron. Back on to it, raise it, back the truck up and drive across a short gap on a couple of 2x12 planks doubled up.
For anybody looking for a lift, I see Directlift is publishing the price again and it has gone back down to around $1900, which is what I paid.
I think it would be very handy for you to use if Ron bought one.
