I don't mind watching the actual racing, even some of the pit stop action is fun but the darn talking heads that go on and on and on about nothing for hours and hours is just too much. Even the most avid NASCAR fans cannot possibly watch all of that meaningless bal, bla, bla before and after each race. Can you imagine how many hours they are going to use up talking about the wing versus the spoiler?

Wayne,

They did a complete 30 minute show last year talking about the tires. It took them 15 minutes to explain how something puncturing the tire lets the air out and that is what makes the tire go flat, thus tearing everything up at high speed. But they do screw up too. Like the time McRenolds was telling everyone how the rocker arm hits the piston when a valve spring breaks. He was talking so fast none of the others could correct him.

ARCA race, 80 laps @ 200 miles, will be at 4:30 after Cup qualifying. Schedule indicated 32 positions ( or is it 43 ? ), but there are 53 entered. Yes, Danica will have a novice yellow stripe on the rear bumper.

Believe it is Showtime that will also have a NASCAR program.

Question

Well this afternoon is the first of the televised Daytona practices and I think I may watch at least pert of it to see if there is any difference in they way the cars seem to handle.
