Air America Ceases
Air America, Liberal Radio Outpost, Ceases Operations
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/01...3A+CBSnews.com) Was it Alec Baldwin who had a liberal talk show once and hardly a soul called? |
Doggone it, now I'll have to work twice as hard around here presenting an alternate view. :)
|
Air America gone,
Boston Globe going, NY Times, going, NBC, bottom of the ratings CBS, ABC, CNN all close to NBC's low ratings. Rush, doing FINE Fox, doing fine, audience larger than NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, COMBINED. Foxes audience is larger than the GOP and Independents together, who else is watching them? The left wants to blame the right media for CAUSING the tea parties and the administrations failures. Right wing media pays liberals to appear and present BOTH sides and they react and report what is happening. They cannot cause a movement. Government mistakes is the cause, and not just the present Government. |

Blame the hate media, Blame the Republicans, Blame the tea baggers, Blame Bush. Should be ringing a bell by now! |
Well, not all of the left. Like any broad classification one size doesn't fit all.
|
You want to see liberal blaming liberal...here's Chris Matthews and Howard Dean calling each other crazy and they are serious:
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-fi...ch-other-crazy It's almost as funny as loony Obama's logic. |
Its Bush's fault.
But it's good to see that market forces prove what many of us have known for a long time. Liberal policies suck and very few support them. I also find it interesting that the Supreme Court has finally leveled the playing field. Like Rush said, its been a perfect storm. Oh, and Ernie, if you are still looking for a source to inspire you, do what other liberals do. Listen to yourself. Mike |
First Coakley and now this, it's all to much I tell ya...
|
How frickin funny. I can't help but wonder what Dean was thinking.
"WOW, these guy never called me out on any of the other ridiculous things I ever said. What happened to the customary head nod." Quote:

Chuck U Schumer is requesting "hearings" regarding the SCOTUS decision today. How funny is that? Libs went too far and even the SCOTUS finally saw it. Before you bring up McCain-Fiengold, don't. Conservatives never supported that crap and it (most hillariously) came back to bite McCain in the ass.
BTW, Chuck U Schumer. Where in the hell does Rush come up with this stuff? This has been a banner couple of days. God is good. Mike |
Here's the Alec Baldwin radio show I was remembering. Guess he was a guest.

5 to 4 on the Supreme Court ruling, pretty close call. Allowing Union's and Big business to campaign is not a good idea, but the "law" has spoken. WAY to much influence from a couple of groups that could really drive a campaign outside of party circles.
|
Ernie .... I guess my feelings are that you can`t have freedom of speech and then limit who can use it . A Corporation has as much right as anyone to say what they want .... through ads or whatever . If you look at the ruling , I believe it also applies to the unions .... who are able to use unlimited "voluntary" contributions from their members who have no say on how they are used .

Bobcat, yeah I agree and so did the Supreme Court, as it pertains to the law of the land. All must have a voice. Doesn't mean I like the ruling or think it's a good idea though, put's to much power in the hands of a few to influence an election. I would have voted with the four who went against it.
Conseratives Functionally unable to embrace new ideas. Driven be fear, exhibit a strong sense of paranoia. Slaves to their god, the dollar they hold so tightly. |

This from the same site as the liberal definition" con·ser·va·tive (khttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/schwa.gifn-sūrhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/prime.gifvhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/schwa.gif-thttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/ibreve.gifv)adj.1. Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change. 2. Traditional or restrained in style: a conservative dark suit. 3. Moderate; cautious: a conservative estimate. 4. a. Of or relating to the political philosophy of conservatism. n.1. One favoring traditional views and values. 2. A supporter of political conservatism. Somewhat different from your humorless made up [i.e. untrue] and derogatory definition. |
If liberals could espouse new ideas that are not outside the bounds of the constitution and then do not cost the rest of us money, then I would like them more. Also, if their new ideas did not trample on the rights of the rest of us, I would support that too. It took 100 years of creeping legisilation too take conservatives out of the game politically with regards to free speech. McCain Fiengold was the final straw.
Liberals would say that those rules apply to them as well! And they do, unless of course, you belong to a union or own a MSM outlet. And that is the major point of the ruling. It was obvious that liberals had unequal rights under the constitution. Ernie fears the influence of corporations, et al. And well he should. This ruling is similar to Reagan's getting rid of FFC Fairness Doctrine that allowed conservative talk radio to explode. Now, the rest of the story will be told. Yes indeed, this has been a banner week for conservatives. And a serious blow to liberals. Mid-Term elections are looking better and better every day. Looking forward to gridlock once again. Mike |
My definition is entirely accurate, Dan, as it applies to the mob of paranoid right wing nuts that frequent the Club Cobra Lounge.
