And cops here are almost never giving warnings anymore, unless you live in the town you get pulled over in. Even then you only have a slim chance. The towns need the revenue too much to let folks get away with even marginal stuff.
They quit giving warnings around here several years ago except for once in a while if you have a burned out tail light or something like that. Those tickets don't create much revenue and so they will most likely give you a fix it ticket that you then have to take to the court house to show it has been repaired. And the fines for moving violations are really getting to be expensive. I don't think our insurance is quite as bad as yours yet.
