Yeah, but it's a wet heat.

We're 103 today, but flirting back and forth with low 90s every few days.

I remember trying to do an inventory in a Stockton warehouse. Had to keep leaning back to write on the forms to keep the sweat from soaking them. That was dripping!

No doubt, Dan...Stockton sits on the Delta.

Fresno's a ways south and a good bit more arid.

humidity, at least here in PA it is worse than the temps in fresno. i considered the summers in fresno mild compared to PA. and besides no one even cuts there own grass in fresno, hell there's even the spider lady that takes the spider webs off the outside of the house, when is anyone in fresno outside?
i could use a couple of grass cutting mexicans here.....

I forgot to mention, we have yet to break 80 degrees in this area. In fact, we have only gotten above 75 twice this year.

Assactly...outside during the summer here is a highly overrated concept.

Having lived in Pa for 20 years and N. Ca. for 20 years, the difference is that when the sun goes down in Ca. it cools way off. In Pa. it stays around the same temp all night long.

In the Cobra, my wife will fill a baggy with ice and place her feet on it. She's happy, I'm happy.

We also picked up a pair of these cool seat cushions from Griots Garage. They work great so far. They will be put to the test on the trip next month.

Wow, we are having a cold spell here the next couple of days. It has fallen from the 103/107 range into the mid 80s. But it is humid as all get out. Maybe because the lake is so close, but it never used to be this humid.

...saw a robin pulling a worm out of the ground today and she was using a pot holder.

That's hot.

Keep him out of Hawaii! Same old temps here we always have - 70's at night,
80's in the day with nice trade winds keeping things cool. Too bad one can't
drive any where except laps! LOL

Still in the 100s here in the day and no lower than 68 at night. And it is so humid that nearly everyone is talking about it. May be because the lake is finally full and we live so close to it. But even with the air and fan on it is miserable at night.
