Ok - I have to ask - what do exhaust tips have to do with fitting sidepipes? The only exhaust tips I know are the shiny ones people stick on the ends of their tailpipes for a bit of bling. Is there something else I'm missing?

BTW - you're right; as soon as you don't need them any more, you'll surely find them while frantically searching for something else!
