Default Anyone ever have the misfortune to own one of these?

Pretty unusual that one still exists!

Ha, this is the old Austin 1300, an absolute standard on British roads in the 70's It has the BMC A series engine same as in the original mini but bored out (or stroked, I don't know) to 1275cc. Totally underpowered, I have no idea how it would drive with the air conditioning on. And notice how the suspension has "never had to be recharged"? It has the Hydrolastic suspension which is a pre pressurized hydraulic system. Actually its two systems, one for the left and one for the right. It is notorious for leaking, and if one side leaks and the other doesn't it makes the car lean to one side. And yes, it has Lucas electronics.
