Bill K's Blown Motor......
Going through some old pics and I came across this one of Bill K's motor that he blew up at Watkins Glen a few years ago. #1 piston let loose.

Did the timing chain break first causing a timing catastrophy, or did a piece of something "foreign" get into the teeth causing it to lock up and pop the chain?

I had a big block Chevy that swallowed a valve, that then split a piston, and then it got real ugly. Part of a rod even went through the intake manifold. The only thing that could be salvaged from that engine was the exhaust manifolds.
