I saw that on the news this morning. Definitely an American hero. The Band of Brother series tells part of his story. RIP...
Same here. I have watched the series twice and they had a short piece about him on TV yesterday. Not many of the real heroes of our country left and each Veterans Day I see less of them. Sad. They said something about maybe a book coming out that would be about him and his group.

I would love to read more about MAJ Winters. He is a text book example of a leader. I have made my sons watch the series so I could point out leadership techniques.
