New Posts miss target
I've noticed this over the last couple of weeks. I use the "New Posts" button above. Very frequently now, especially on multi-page topics, the "view first unread topic" button from the New Post list will consistently take me to a very old topic and it is always the same reply but always on a previous page. It's been very consistent over the past few days with the "tim man 78 mile" topic.
It seemed to happen after one of the bouts with the Forum going off line for a couple of hours followed by a period of data base errors and then suddenly pretty consistent. I think it started 2-3 weeks ago...
Anyone else seeing it?

I just tried it and it seemed to work ok for me. But I don't start many New Posts so it could be some intermittent thing.

Also, whenever I get a "Reply to thread" email from Club Cobra to my yahoo email account, the link quit working some time ago. It has something to do with new yahoo email. If I forward the email to another account such as Gmail or Exchange/Outlook the link redirects correctly.

Still happening, and that is on multiple computers separated in space and time (home vs work). It's most noticeable when a topic goes to multiple pages and clicking on the "next unread" takes you to the middle of the previous page and 3 days before. Did something change when the forum was moved to the new server?

A problem that I have been having for several months now is if I try to Edit a post. I get the Edit screen and can do whatever I want in the post but when I click Submit it acts as if it is doing it and then just sets there and I have let it set for as long as 10 minutes before giving up. But when I click to go back to the thread and then open the thread my Edit is in there. It is almost as if when it completes loading the Edited post something is stopping it from going back to the thread. I don't have this problem anywhere else and have did all of the cookie and Temp file cleaning. I did try it over on CHR just to see and I think the same thing happened but that was so long ago that I can't remember for sure. I haven't been able to add any type of attachment to a post for the past two years. Not important so I don't worry about it. But the Edit thing would be nice to have fixed.

Sorry for the double post but this is easier that trying to Edit my above post. I just went and tried the New Posts link and everything worked fine for me.

I agree. It is known problem. It is not "you" or anything unique at your end.

Thanks CW. I hadn't seen anyone else say anything about it and was trying to figure out what may be wrong if it was just me.
