Basically I will be just shooting paper targets for fun at the range now and again and if history proves anything I will get board with the gun and it will sit in my safe until I buy another gun to keep the excitement going. This is why I purchased a basic entry level gun. If it turns out differently then I see how easily you can go over the top and start building your own and/or customizing.

For now I am just happy to own one and shoot at the indoor range from time to time.

From what I have learned in NJ I am limited to one "deadly" item on the gun for lack of a better word. This means 10 round mag, no flash suppressor, fixed stock, no bayonet mount. It's ridiculous! A gun with a 10 round mag and fixed stock kills the same as a 30'round mag with an adjustable stock.

I'm probably looking to spend about $200 for a basic scope. I feel spending more at this time would be a waste based on the frequency I will use it and considering I will probably only be using it indoors. If things change I can always upgrade.

The aim point scopes look awesome but don't think I want to spend that much right now unless I can be convinced otherwise.

Thanks for any help suggestions. The expertise of our cobra group is amazing!
