A friend sent this to me as he is purchasing a plane with this engine. Reminds me of 6 Cyl Porsche 911S minus the fan.......

That weight is really impressive. Now if you can just figure a way to get one in a Cobra that would really be something.

Porsche actually did build an aircraft version of the 911 Motor, but withdrew them from the market when engine builders (as aircraft builders) could held liable for fatalities in crashes. (Is that called "product liability"?)

In fact, the aircraft industry suffers from a big hole in manufactured (used) aircrafts because there weren't built many in that time. (Have to look up the years when that happened).
