My wife did what she likes, mow the lawn. I made a grand breakfast for her this morning, she likes it when I do that.

I moved 45 tons of black dirt, Tilled the garden and planted the last of the trees.

I'm a bit pooped.

:)

Tru,

If that is how you celebrate Mother's Day, I can't wait until Father's Day comes to see what you do. Maybe clean all the streets and roads in the area.

Ron :D

Tru,
I think I understand your routine now.
Spring- plant trees
Fall- cut trees down.

wtm442 05-15-2007 07:46 AM

Tru

I have ONE tree in my yard. I just let it grow. **) **) **)

My high volume mechanical fuel pump works great, and there is NO switch to forget.__________________

Ron,Tru,Frenchy & Turtle would say that is an age thing.:D

Not me though,I'm nicer than that.:JEKYLHYDE

Ron61 05-15-2007 09:32 AM

Fred,

What switch are you talking about. What did I miss in one of the posts? As for the age thing you have to wait until you become an adult to have to worry about that. I enjoyed the several thousand years as a teenager.

trularin 05-15-2007 11:26 AM

Fred is too nice a guy to say that.

Sounds like an age thingy.

Yes, we plant in the spring and cut in the fall.

It's how it works.

:D :D :D

wtm442 05-15-2007 12:05 PM

Methinks that Fred has fallen off the truck of sanity. Or maybe he is angry that nobody wished him a Happy Mutha's day.

trularin 05-15-2007 03:03 PM

I wished everyone's mother a happy day, so that covers it.

:D :D

I like to believe I jumped.**)

Define Sanity! We are all a little sane and a little insane. Some just hide it better than others. Old people are best at hiding it because they forget they are insane.

Ron :3DSMILE:

By the way, I got my new babies today. And they have been all over the house exploring and playing. And they stay right under my feet so I have to really watch before I move.

wtm442 05-15-2007 05:20 PM

Congrats on your new kids Ron! Where are the pics?

and a hearty congrats to Fred for his Olympic record truck jump .... (LMFAO)

Went food shopping ... had to wait in line for a few minutes ... but the cashier gave me the senior citizen discount which was about $7.50 off the order. She said I do not look like a senior, but gave me the discount for waiting patiently.

I know I'm sane, cuz the insanity around here is contagious! **) **)

Ron61 05-16-2007 04:50 AM

:)

Mike,

Have a great time. I hope to make it next year God willing. Warren I hope the leg is almost well by now. My shoulder has shown no improvement at all except the pain now moves from side to side.
Well I am back to the getting up at 2:30 routine as Frenchy and Sweetheart wanted to eat. Also have them paper trained but not bed trained so I have a load in the washing machine right now. Man, are they ever live wires. Run, growl, play, eat, follow me, eat, and rest a minute seems to be the routine right now, but I hope to get some changes started soon. However I must admit that I am really enjoying having them here as the house no longer is so empty and I don't dread to come home. :)

hey,littlecobra 05-16-2007 07:37 AM

did you name them Frenchy and Sweetheart????

Trey (brother) named his cats Buster and Gracie. :)
I like matching names. :)

see ya'll! have a great day!

trularin 05-16-2007 09:55 AM

Wow, I think the storm that hit last night, had all the makings of a tornado.

I have green leaves plastered to my house. There were patches of white from the hail and I think I saw a tree bend in half.

Haven't looked over the damage, I am at work, but I can tell there are going to be days of clean up.

:D :D :D
