:)

Warren,

Great pictures and the sun really does make those cliffs come alive. Almost looks like the Painted Desert used to at sunset.

Tru,

The pups are doing great. Had their complete physicals a week or so ago and everything was normal. How is Yukon doing? :)

Kristen,

We all think of you. Warren is just the only one that can afford to run all over taking nice pictures. I think he should add a couple of comedy pictures. Like maybe him playing golf.

Ron

Gud AM.

When I left home last week, regular 87 octane gas was $2.55 a gallon and I filled up the tank. An hour's drive later, the price at Wood's Hole on Cape Cod was $2.89.

After a 25 minute boat ride to Martha's Vineyard, the price was $3.19. Total mileage from my house was 55 miles! Of course, the gas on the island is transported in trucks, just like everywhere else, but they have to pay $$ for the boat ride. Found out that it comes from the gas storage tanks about 4 miles from my house .... small world.

Yesterday the price was $3.39

I'm almost on empty. :( :( Excuse me ... my car is almost on empty! :JEKYLHYDE

:)

Warren,

We haven't had any gas below $3 dollars a gallon for several years now. I think that when I filled my car up last week the middle grade, ( 91 ) octane was $3.19. I noticed the sign when I went to the post office and it is $3.27. And last year the world passed the 50% mark in having used all of the known oil so it is just going to get higher.

How many of you get kids at the door for trick or treat??

:D :D

392cobra 10-31-2007 04:15 PM

Warren,
With you paying your Country Club $ 300k to play a couple of rounds of golf,What's $ .84 a gallon extra for the hoopde ?

Ron61 11-01-2007 03:18 AM

Tru,

We haven't had kids going around in this area for years trick or treating. Just to dam dangerous with all of the nut jobs we have here. I can remember when we would get up to 30 or more a night. Now they can't even be out after dark unless in a car and most of these dam dopers and people around here will yell at them.

Yukon is doing well. He's decided to fight with me for the past couple of nights. It's all play, but he's big and a bite is a bite.

We don't get kids either, just too darn far to walk.

I see Warren is running out of gas. It is hovering around $3.00 per gallon here.

:D

Ron61 11-01-2007 06:32 AM

;)

Tru,

I am glad that Yukon is doing well. If he is ready to play then most of the soreness must be gone. When he wants to bite, try giving him a steak. They normally prefer that to an arm or hand.

Ron

hey,littlecobra 11-01-2007 07:08 AM

what happened to Yukon and why did he have stitches?? I must have missed all that.
glad he's doing better!

wtm442 11-01-2007 08:27 AM

Just got some gas yesterday for the daily driver. When the attendant said "Fill 'er up with regular?", I said "Just 50 bucks ... I cannot see putting in more than the car is worth".

$50 just brought the gas gauge up to 7/8 full.  She was running on fumes. But I've owned cars that were bought and or sold for less than 50 bucks! :MECOOL: :MECOOL: :MECOOL:

Cloudy and 64 F right now. Time for a round of golf this afternoon.

Tru bit him in the leg.

Ron61 11-01-2007 08:38 AM

:)

No it wasn't the leg. I was going to let Tru answer her so it wouldn't seem so bad.

Ron

trularin 11-01-2007 11:29 AM

Warren!

Yukon had a tumor removed from his butt and tail. It was bigger than we expected and there were a number of stitches.

Warren is paying the high dollar for gas because he has a servant pump it for him. How snooty.

:D :D :D

alpace@pacificp 11-01-2007 12:09 PM

Where can I find info on Shelby Blocks vs. Pond?

Thanks!

Ron61 11-01-2007 12:19 PM

Al,

Put your question in the All Cobra Talk or Shop talk Forums as most of the guys using them are in those forums far more than the Lounge. And they can tell you about anything that you might want to know including how to contact the engine builders.

Ron :)

Ron61 11-02-2007 06:15 AM

:p

Well Warren is still trying to catch Tiger Woods in Golf earnings. I guess that means he will be playing 24/7 for the next few years.
