Kristen,
You'll do just fine.:)
You don't need the extra beauty sleep like Ron,Tru and Warren.

Ron61 11-04-2007 07:17 AM

Kristen,

The last time I forgot to set my clock back was while I was in college and showed up an hour early for class. Glad that you enjoyed the extra sleep. Have a great day and don't forget it will be one hour longer.

Fred,

What applies to Tru and Warren doesn't me. I probably sleep less than anyone else on here. And I set all of my clocks back during the day yesterday. Just changing a clock doesnt change my bodies habits. :D

Ron :p

392cobra 11-04-2007 07:26 AM

Ron,
Are you saying that you aren't in as dire a need for beauty sleep as Tru & Warren OR there is just not much chance of you getting any ?**)

wtm442 11-04-2007 07:27 AM

Beauty sleep? I'd have to hibernate for 40 years to make any improvement.  But I try my hardest ... naps are wonderful.

Did the same as Kristen this morning. Woke up at what I thought was 7AM, until I turned on the TV and saw it was really 6 AM.

Fred - that's the sad story of my life. Turtle gets more than I do.

Oops .... were you talking about sleep?  Never mind! :3DSMILE:

Ron61 11-04-2007 07:33 AM

:D

Fred,

Strange as it sounds, I don't seem to need much sleep any more. Some times I do take a nap in the afternoon, but anything past 5 hours at night seems like I have been in bed a week.

As for the beauty part, I have to go along with Warren on that. Except even at my advanced age my mind still seems to function at a low level. At least I can remember to set the clocks.  Now I know why Warren's golf scores are so good. He just can't remember those extra strokes to get out of the sand traps and trees. :D

Here is a pic of my brother-in-law on the golf course. The picture he took of me was so blurred, it made your eyes water.

But he will not let me drive the golf cart. Last year I did a 360 in the golf cart, right in front of the groundskeeper. Did not tip it over though ...

I think you're on to something there.

I don't bother setting my clocks until I feel like it.%/

Ron61 11-04-2007 07:46 AM

:D

Warren,

At least it looks as if he is on the fairway. It is hard to get a clear picture of anyone in trees and bushes trying to hit a golf ball.

Ron

Fred - here are a couple of shots I took out the car window about 6 hours before the worst of the storm hit at 8 PM. There was no way I was going outside of the car to take a picture. The wind was gusting to about 50 MPH at that time.

I tried getting some turtle surfing pics, but no luck. The rain was coming down sideways!

Sunset is now at 4:30 PM   No sunset shots tonight ... got to watch the Pats crush the Colts. Go Pats!

Time to go get the Sunday paper and drive around to see what damage there is around the island. No more rain, and the sun just came out, but the temp is only 44 F.

392cobra 11-04-2007 08:10 AM

The News showed some badly damaged buildings in Chatham this morning.
I suppose most of the buildings where you are are build for the severe weather you can get right off the Atlantic.

Looks like your electricity held up too.

Ron61 11-04-2007 09:17 AM

:p

This must be why Warren won't take his girl friend out among people he knows.

A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died.
After he works on it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly.
She says, "What's the story?"
He replies, "Just crap in the carburetor"
She asks, "How often do I have to do that?"

Ron :D

392cobra 11-04-2007 09:29 AM

Ron,
I need to borrow and slightly alter your joke.It will show up on the Texas site.

Fred, I can't wait to see what you changed. I will be looking for it on the Texas Forum. You wouldn't be going to use it to poke fun at Kristen would you?

Ron

A few boats sank in the harbor and a lot of tree limbs fell down, but not too much damage. Some trees came down but all the chain saws were buzzing early this morning.

The whole island lost electricity for about an hour last night. That's a short time for this area. But there are still quite a few areas on Cape Cod with no electricity.

Ron - I'll have you know that I have not lost a golf ball while on vacation. Still have not made any money, but had a lot of laughs.

HI Cobra 11-04-2007 12:30 PM

Go easy on Kristen now!

We don't get no stinkin daylight savings here so no worries on the clocks.

Got lightning and thunder last night (very rare here) then it rained, and rained, and is still raining. No Cobra ride today. Plus my roof leaks. More:CRY: I was hoping to have it reshingled earlier this year but things
didn't work out but will be doing so in the near future. It has been a dry
summer, so easy to forget.

trularin 11-04-2007 03:56 PM

I see you all have a bit of fun with the clocks, time and how little we have left.

:D

wtm442 11-04-2007 05:25 PM

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Pats!

Warren,

It is hard to lose golf balls sitting in the car taking pictures. Now try playing in that wind and see how many you lose. You probably spent the whole week reading about all the millions you have coming from the lottery winnings. Oh well, at least you got away from all that nice weather you were having at home.

Ron

trularin 11-05-2007 07:08 AM

So, are you saying you know that Warren hit the lottery???

Warren, What are you going to do with all that money? Get a real turtle?

Two weeks until rifle hunting season opens. I am going out with my son.

:D :D
