Default Ken Lockwood Gorge

Well- I finally found it and it was not easy---The Ken Lockwood Gorge located in Hunterdon County NJ. Beautiful gem in NJ. Don't think many people know about it probably because they can't
find it!

Any other hidden NJ Gems out there.

Jams,

That is a nice looking place and looks very serene and peaceful. Is it accessible to the public or do you have to hike in? Something like that I feel they should keep camp grounds and such away from.

It was in the travel section of the Star Ledger last Sunday. In the past you were able to drive Right along the water but erosion has taken its toll on parts of the road. Only about half of the road is open now. I attached a picture from google earth the road runs right along the river.

Lots of trout fisherman.

Well Google Earth does get somethings wrong once in awhile. But that is a nice place. We have some that are nice to go to, but you have to hike for several miles in the canyons to get to them. That is why they stay so nice. Lassen Park has some very nice scenery and places that are off the beaten track and can't be driven to.
