Making Change$$$$$$$

It seems that no one under 40 knows how to make change anymore! I can't count the number of times I have confused a cashier by giving them extra dollars. EXAMPLE...... my bill is $11.89, and I give them $22.00. They try to give me back the $2.00. I just tell them NO!. Then they are like a deer caught in the headlights. They just don't know what to do.

I guess they don't understand you need to keep small bills to make change? People are so use to letting the machines do the work. They forget how to think. I have actually had a couple of cashiers try, and force the bills back into my hand. I then tell them I want a ten dollar bill, and they need their ones for change. Still the blank looks exist. What the he!! happened to common sense?.....

First of all, what are you doing spending $11.89 at McDonalds?

I see the same thing at stores all the time. It is some of the best entertainment.

Try giving someone $12.14 to the $11.89 and watch what happens. You may get two or three people at the cash register.
