I guess we need to harness that Methane gas from cattle, etc and feed it into our Cobra's. Why doesn't someone figure that out instead of worrying about auto polution? Could you imagine following a Cobra and smelling cow crap.

Global warming is a fact...human influence on global warming is speculation...and global warming is a cyclical and historical fact!

BUT the two most threatening issues facing our future are MUCH more relevant and immediate...

1) The caldera underneath Yellowstone Park is WAYYYY overdue for its next explosion, and has risen an unprecedented 3 feet in the past few years. The last explosion covered the WHOLE OF the continental US in 5 feet of ash, caused a global winter for decades and resulted in one of the world's most devastating 'species wipeouts'

and more importantly than that...

2) We will reach the Hubbert Peak for oil within 15 years even with the most optimistic of forecasts, and we will reach the Hubbert Peak for Uranium within 30 years...

Global warming will be irrelevant because there is no way to switch the western world from an oil based economy to "who knows what" in 15 years anyhow....the direst predictions say that at best, we will be back to an 18th century agrarian economy by the end of the century and 80% of the world's population will be dead by then anyhow.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are fortunate and privileged to live at the zenith of the human race's civilized path to destruction...it will get NO BETTER THAN IT IS NOW...so put your foot down on the accelerator, it's all going to run out soon anyhow...

Funny how you never hear talking about this type of polution. I,ll bet its the biggest contributor to our planets problem than anything else talked about.
You should do a little research (a little more than Gore). Aviation uses less than 1% of the fuel used world wide. They are definately not the biggest contributors!

hmmm...actually, the prediction for the early 70s was that we would reach the Hubbert Peak FOR U.S. OIL by 1971, and we hit that date EXACTLY!!!!!!! guess us dope smokers in the early 70s were right...LOL

I LOVED being a child of the 60s...sex, drugs and rock n' roll...coudn't hold a tune to save my life, but 2 outta 3 ain't bad...LOL

Lets not forget the CA fires. They also were being blamed on G.W.

Gee Folks! I'm 65 years old and have lived through a lot of change. Wars, sex and drugs, working for the man, weather changes, and great political discussions.
Nothing really changes, it just cycles around based on "your world and perspective". I love the heat 100 degrees is fine, at least I can drive my Cobra year round and wear shorts and a T-shirt to help hide my beer belly. Life is good, you better start to enjoy it before its over.

You are correct Sir, except this time they have the backing of the One world mandate from the UN, whoose sole purpose is to neuter the most successful and prosperous nation in the history of the world.

Yes! You are correct. Vegetarians are more flatulent than carnivores.

Those engines are burning aprox 1 gallon of fuel every 5 seconds. Are you saying that there is no exaust polutants mixed in the water vapour trail. I find that hard to believe that they are efficient enough engines to burn all that fuel without producing pollutants and only water vapour.

You're really not up on comprehension thing are you?YOU said"just LOOK up in the sky".Well, when you say JUST LOOK-all you see is water vapor.Of course there are pollutants. But not as many as enviro-nazis say there are.
And your math is wrong too-an Airbus 319/320 burns(total) .78 gallons per 3.75 seconds or 1.57 gallons per 7.5 seconds.

If you have a problem with the planet getting warmer,go see Mother Earth-she's the b.itch in charge.

i dont have a problem with it. i just have a problem telling my children that. a problem it seems you dont have. Someone once said it is far better to all contribute a little to trying to solve a potential problem than to deal with the concequenses of doing nothing at all. This is the same attitude most of us take with solving potential problems with our cobras rather than having to deal with the possible life threatening concequenses of having done nothing at all. As far as the math goes, i said aprox.

A Boeing 747 uses approximately 1 gallon of fuel every second.

Cobrabill; we have one thing in common which is the COBRA. Lets talk to one another in tone that reflects that same commonality. Best Regards Carmine

JWD-that's because a 747 is a barge.

Carmine-Why BS your kids? Why let their minds be filled with the crap that Gore and his ilk spew? Why not tell them like it is?

Your comment about problems involving Cobras is an apples to oranges.Any Cobra problem can be solved given enough experience, time and/or money.

To say that man can cool the entire atmosphere is the second most arrogant statement right behind"man is so important that we are alone in the universe".

We are an insignificant flea speck on the earths a$$.And Mother earth can swat us any time she wants.

With regards to your last post,it appears you've read a little more "inflection"than was intended. The internet is a "dead medium".You can't "read" emotion or tone. You & i have no problems.

The only people wackier than Art Bell, are those who listen to his program and take it seriously.

That said, Art has gotten me safely through many an all-night roadtrip. He's truely an institution (in an institution?). Long live the kingdom of Nye!
