You could ride "up to" the gates, but would have to see about going through them  Sun Studios is a very small place, nothing like you may have seen on tv, very interesting.
Once you see the house you realize he was a very humble person, it is just a big old house, he could have lived anywhere.Sun is 6-7 miles from graceland, right by Beale street.
