best GPS for the money

I got a Magellan for a gift. Nice unit, especially since it costs about $500

You can just about forget the speech part if you intend to use it in the Cobra. Also, if you are in any convertible, viewing the screen can be very difficult when the sun is out. Wearing sunglasses "can" make it more difficult to see the screen.

I recommend the Garmin line. I have an iQue 3200 that has worked it's way into being indispensable on trips. When we took it to Europe, by the end of the trip I would have been more concerned had I lost the Garmin than my wallet! I'm not kidding!

I have a Garmin C330. I love it. Easy to use. Only thing it doesn't have I wish it did is bluetooth. Otherwise its a great product.
