Sorry Roscoe, even I, an ardent conservative, can't help you lend credance to such an obviously stupid, staged attempt to discredit Obama. Personally, I think Obama is an incredible speaker... one who is gifted to inspire but at the same time say nothing. Its an art, a gift if you will.
I still can't think of one good thing to say about McCain except he was a war hero. For that, he is to be respected and honored. Clothes pins to my nose, thats where I'm gonna have to put my vote.

I don't see how Obama can be held liable for every worker (or their opinions) but it certainly shows a lack of smarts on the local directors part! I see this years election as the thinnest choice available in a long, long time. As stated above, Obama speaks eloquently but says nothing. His voting record in the Senate is no real indicator because on many issues important to me in a leader he voted 'present', not yes, no or abstain. Clinton is an old guard inside politico who just wants to be President but just doesn't seem to bring anything else idea wise to the table. Oh, she has 8 years White House experience. The pastry chef has 14, so let's vote for her. McCain is a retread who has finally (it seems) found his groove. Both these 2 amount to 'stay the course' which I don't think is an option. Huckabee lost me when he stated that he would like the Constitution written to be more 'in line' with the Bible. I am a God fearing man, but I don't want the state involved in my church. Paul?
A lot of ideas I like (flat tax, limited gov't,etc.) but he has his loon moments when he argues his brothers cudos (his brother is one of the big income tax protesters in the US). And if he won, could he get a coalition to rule? Hard choices to make when the menu is so thin.

Jamo,
Steve is gonna be pissed. I did not see Ron Paul. I know, I read your caveat, but Steve thinks Ron CAN win.
He won't even take my bet with a 300 delagate gimme.
Steve, to up the ante. I will get "Yankees Rock" tattoed on my forehead.

The poll needs a place to vote for Ron Paul. What is this, Fox?

Mike,
Might we disagree? This could be a first. I don't believe this should be dismissed so quickly. Do I feel Obama should bear the responsibility of responding to an action an office? You bet! As of yet, I don't believe there has even been a 'official' response, despite widespread comment on the subject.
Regardless of the quick Obama defending, one thing which can't be ignored is this is a representation of typical person which supports him. If it were staged, they would have chosen a plausible example.... not this one? well, this from the LA times...
"Speaking of endorsements, Sen. Barack Obama seems to have gotten one from a possibly unwelcome place. Daniel Ortega, the Soviet-backed Nicaraguan leader whose Sandinista forces battled U.S.-supported Contras there in the 1980s, says he sees "revolutionary" change coming to the United States in the persona of Obama."
Top of the Ticket : Los Angeles Times : Ticket Takings: No cute dogs today but lotsa politics
how timely. This guy scares the begeebees out of me... not to draw the same conclusions, but I believe you have some exposure to the "Left Behind" series, when I hear this guy speak, and I watch the droves of followers, I can't help but think that this is an example of the what I will eventually be able to witness. He and Jim Jones must share the same DNA.
Fear.

OH, and follow up Utube clips of an interview with one of the 'staged' gals.... I don't think she is bright enough to have staged it.
and I stand corrected, the Obama camp has responded
"Obama's campaign released a statement calling the flag inappropriate. The statement stressed that the office featured in the video is only funded by volunteers of his campaign – it's not an official headquarters."
Che Guevara Flag In Obama Campaign Office Causes Controversy - Local News Story - WTVJ | Miami
Not staged, but everyone should discern this example of his followers.

why is it that whenever Bernanke opens his mouth, I end up with a lot of time looking for diversions?

Yeah Jamo,
You should put in Huckabee, Paul, and Gravel (I don't think he is out yet).
Edit:They ALL have a chance of winning, but some of them do not have a very good chance.
Mike,
Spot me 1175 delegates and you have a deal.

The KKK supported Bush. So what does that say about him?
And it might be interesting to find out whom they have endorsed for this election.

considering a Monday morning quarterback look at his presidency, a lot.
and if you are for status quo...
THE KKK SUPPORTS BARACK « Illseed Blog
"WE" corporately are to blame for the current candidacy options. Every one expects squeaky clean presentations rather than substantive convictions.
I read an article once which described why the public would no longer elect a bald president.
Who hasn't expressed a voting against this year instead of voting FOR someone?
