I could walk but I would need a mule train to carry the 2 power saws, 2 100' sections of inch steel rope, half dozen 12 foot chokers, a line cutter or two, 20 gallons of various oils, 120 gallons of diesel, A tool box of small hand tools, a even bigger tool box of large hand tools, a even bigger tool box of spare parts, and my lunch box and thermos.

But you have such beautiful country to walk through!!
Is it true that it rains there a lot, or am I confusing OR for WA?

Jay,
Oregon and Washington both get more than their share of rain. Both states are great and very green, but they should be considering it rains or showers almost every day in some parts of them. That is the main reason I never took a job I was offered when I was at Ft. Lewis awaiting my discharge. But they have some beautiful scenery.
