The Callaway Corvette, sold by selected Chevrolet dealers, has a warranty, not sure if the warranty is from GM or Callaway:

The Callaway Corvette is a specialist version of the C6 Corvette, built by Callaway and sold through selected Chevrolet dealers

They are professionally engineered, seriously fast and an unbeatable value. They are also fully warranted and emission compliant in all states.

Note the MPG:

City/Highway:
18/28 mpg w/manual transmission
17/27 mpg w/automatic transmission

Don,

A few years ago one of the car magazines did a test of all of the top tuner cars, Calloway Corvette, Ford GT, ( the new GT-40 ), model, a couple of specialty Mustangs, and a Hennessey Viper. they bought a stock Corvette off a showroom floor to use as a base line for their tests. After all the testing was done, for all the extra money the so called tuner cars cost I would have gone for the stock corvette. Also they took them all down to Southern Calif. and ran them through a smog test. Two passed. The Ford Gt and the stock Corvette. If I had paid that much for a car that was advertised as 50 state legal, there would have been some serious problems when they failed the smog tests. and they failed badly.

Hello Don,

We have CARB E.O. for the Supercharger systems for 97-07 Corvettes. If a component has been granted an EO by CARB, then it is 50 state compliant.
We will have a new E.O. for the 2008 (LS3) Corvette in the upcoming week or two, which includes C16. For C16 at 650 hp, which configuration will require another round of testing with CA. We are starting this shortly.
All Callaway Corvettes are built to comply with Federal Law, of course, so no other components would be used in a Callaway that would void the EO granted for the supercharger (headers, thermostats, hi-flow cats, ...etc).

Callaway Corvettes back to the 87-91 Twin Turbo were also 50 state compliant.

Best Regards,

We knew the Corvette ZR1 was fast, and was going to be pricey. Now we know exactly how pricey.

The ZR1 will carry a sticker price of $105,000, including shipping charges and gas-guzzler tax, when it goes on sale this summer. The gas-guzzler tax accounts for $1700 of the price.

There are just two options-$2,000 for chrome wheels, and a $10,000 interior package that includes leather-trimmed sports seats with the ZR1 logo, side air bags, Bose audio and a navigation system.

A General Motors spokeswoman said the short options list is by design, since Chevrolet anticipates many fans will want the base car sans the added weight. A fully optioned ZR1 will total $117,000.

But with GM planning to build just 2,000 ZR1s a year, many Chevrolet dealers are expected to ask for more than the sticker price to part with the car.

GM said the ZR1 will sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, edging the Corvette Z06 by three tenths of a second. Stretch that drag race out to 100 mph, and the ZR1 betters its stablemate by nearly a full second, posting a tire-smoking time of 7.0 seconds.

The 6.2 liter, 638-hp LS9 V8 propels the ZR1 to a top speed of 205 mph, giving it the title of fastest Vette ever, and putting it into the rarified exhaust fumes usually emitted only by the Europeans.

Fuel economy (as if it matters): An EPA-estimated 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.
