I can't help but remember a few years ago, though, the huge hue and cries of outrage when the American teen accused of vandalism somewhere in the Far East was condemned to a good flogging in accordance with that country's laws...

And he got what he deserved!!!!!!!!!! I can't remember the country, maybe Singapore??, but I do remember the incident and something about their crime rate, it was a lot less than ours.....maybe had something to do with the public floggings!!!!!!!!!

Public hangings on the courthouse square at high noon on saturdays would be good.....I bet crime rates would drop like a rock.
