NASCAR postpones Richmond Sprint Cup race to Sunday

RICHMOND, Va. - NASCAR has postponed the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 from Saturday night to 1 p.m. EDT Sunday at Richmond International Raceway because of the threat of Tropical Storm Hanna, series director John Darby has told participants in a crew chief meeting at the track.

With up to four inches of rain possible in the Richmond area, NASCAR officials opted Friday afternoon to cancel Saturday¹s activities.
