Ernie,

THIS what the future administration will do when an investigation is launched? Deny, obfuscate, delay, pardon, refuse to answer or cooperate? Always for a dam good reason of course, in THEIR mind!

Isn't that what all of the administrations have done for the past 50 years or so? Remember this is politics mixed with a news media that is only interested in ratings and not facts. I only know what I read and hear about that, so I discount much of it as i do what I hear and read about Obama. Heck, if you want the REAL truth watch the CNN people and their completely unbiased reporting. I know it is unbiased because they say so.

'goes to heat of the matter' my a$$, ernie you don't have a clue as to the details, and Sarah said long ago she's not concerned with the outcome. Just a continuation of your main objective: get my post count up!.

Try looking into what Obama did to his opponent in his run for the state seat. I will try and NEXUS it.Typical dirty politics that as usual never gets in the main media.

Is this true?

I have not heard this. I am not saying any politician is above it, but where did this come from?

Steve...came from the Sunday New York Times...

"WASILLA, Alaska - Gov. Sarah Palin lives by the maxim that all politics is local, not to mention personal.

So when there was a vacancy at the top of the State Division of Agriculture, she appointed a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to the $95,000-a-year directorship. A former real estate agent, Ms. Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as one of her qualifications for running the roughly $2 million agency.

Ms. Havemeister was one of at least five schoolmates Ms. Palin hired, often at salaries far exceeding their private sector wages. "

Wow, I had not seen that.

I am not really surprised. Politics are politics these days.

Never know do you?

Steve,
I would take that story with a huge dose of salt.

Do you really think that the NYT and MSNBC are about to be honest when it comes to politics ? They have been in the bag for O for some time now.

Ok, now I know where it came from. I don't read or pay any attention to most of the news media as they are always distorting things to get better ratings. But it could be true as most politicians reward their friends with good jobs and benefits. Thanks for posting the source Glyn. that took nerve.

Laughable.

So buggering what? She hired someone she knew. Truly unbelievable post.

I know of no position that doesn't hire based on prior friendship.

I give much more credence to someone who is hired because they knew (ethics may be clear) them as opposed to someone they owed (typical appointments).

Was there something wrong with the way they carried out their duties?

Were they hanging Che Rivera posters on the back of the office?

Where in the bugger do you think the phrase "it isn't what you know, it's who you know" came from.

who posted this... the hypocrite? the pompous windbag (who has proven himself), or... oh yes... welcome to the party, I will wait to see what moniker gets branded to you.

Also the head of the investigation is a democrat that is involved heavily with the Obama campaign in Alaska.

Trooper Gate is, in a nutshell:
"Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired because of insubordination on budget issues -- not because he refused to fire a state trooper who had divorced Palin's sister."

Now I'm NOT posting this to be 'negative' this is in fact 'breaking news' and goes to the heart of the problem I personally have with the current administration. It leaves this author wondering if were not seeing excatly the same kind of behaviour now being played out by the McCain camp. Is THIS what the future administration will do when an investigation is launched? Deny, obfusicate, delay, pardon, refuse to answer or cooperate? Always for a dam good reason of course, in THEIR mind!

Doesn't look good for the McC camp, no matter how you slice it, no matter how you justify it. It's hide and seek all over again, just like the last 8 years have been. I think strategically this is a very bad move by the Republicans that will result in a substantial public backlash. Of course they must know that, the risk there taking. Which leads one to ask, "What are they hiding that would be worse than a bad public relations move?" Somethings going on there trying to cover up...
You are a huge buggerin' wanker. As if anyone here would consider your input as to the impact of anything on McCain-Palin.

As folks find out just what the nature of Mr. Wooten’s offenses were - tasering an 11 year-old, drinking while on duty in his cruiser, illegally killing game, threatening the life of his father-in-law, to name just a few, people wonder what the fuss is about Gov. Palin.

If the Dems in the Alaska legislature try to tar Gov. Palin with this, it’ll once again backfire on the Dems, including Snob-ama.

Most folks don’t like “police” who abuse their powers and physically violate innocent people. The question folks making comments over at the CNN link are asking is why the pig Wooten is still an Alaska State Trooper.

Posters should read this document....
