I think you should start taking your pills again.  I had some spare free time left over yesterday because it was only about 50°F outside, but I used it up with a drive in my Cobra. My pedal works great. I even get noise out of the front and rear of the car when I depress that pedal. Will wonders never cease!
Rather than a Bow Tie, why not just machine in the word "LOUD" on the pedal? That will be sufficient to take on all brands.
I'm still waiting for your turtle mail. Those little devils probably took a detour to Texas to visit the Humpin Ho Sisters.
