Ok, I have not had time yet to read all the stuff you guys are presenting, but I have a few questions.
1. I think somebody tried to pull the same sort of thing with McCain (he was born in Panama) and the SJC determined that only Congress can determine if the qualifications have been met.
2. This case has been granted a stay - so that nothing has been confirmed or denied.
3. What does it matter if he was born in Kenya or Hawaii? His mother was an American citizen and according to code 1401 "(h) a person born before noon (Eastern Standard Time) May 24, 1934, outside the limits and jurisdiction of the United States of an alien father and a mother who is a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, had resided in the United States."
So what exactly is the issue?
Steve
