Like him or not, Ted Stevens will never serve a day in jail. I am not up on Alaska politics, but NPR claimed he has stiff competition. But then, they also have been saying the same thing about McCain from day one. It IS afterall, NPR. Other than that, he's got a good shot at being reelected. That's not soo bad, in the late 70's, our sheriff was arrested,tried,convicted and while spending his 30 days in his own jail he was RE-ELECTED, by a landslide vote..........

Trickle down works great in some cases, but not all the time. And it can cause recessions if the middle and lower classes have no spending power. Look up Keynesian economics.

Personally, I think that anybody serving in Congress who gets nailed doing this sort of thing should have all possessions taken from him that were given by the public, then he should be pilloried in the capital of whatever state he served.

Did you hear about Wilkerson? She could get 40 years! Even Deval Patrick thought it might be best for her to step down! Nothing will happen to her though.
