Default What the heck happened?

Howdy Everybody,

Wow! Title says it all!

I am so disappointed with the Republican Party.

Really, what were ya'll thinking to pick McCain and Palin to run for POTUS and VP?

I really don't have a problem with McCain except for his age. I would have voted for him in 2000 over Lil' George or Al Gore. But, gee, he would be 72 yo when he took office. Looks like too many swing voters thought that would be too old.

Palin. Who the heck is Palin? Mike Huckabee would have been a better choice than Palin if the Repubs were trying to get the Bible crowd. Here's a news flash..........The Bible crowd was not going to vote for Obama so Palin didn't help. She actually hurt McCain. I know several swing voters that were going to vote for McCain until he picked Palin. One of the swing voters called her a "pew jumping nutjob" and said that if McCain died she would be POTUS and that he was going to vote for Obama. This person asked why didn't he pick Huckabee or Romney? Another swing voter called Palin a 2nd rate con artist that got to where she was at because of her looks and that he didn't want a bimbo in the WH.

Gee, I think my 2nd admendment rights are going to go away. Then the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.

Paul
