Inauguration
One Hundred Sixty Million Dollars !!!!!
What a waste of our taxes. The spigot of tax dollars turns on full blast on Tuesday at 12:01 PM. Grab your wallets and hold on tight.

I can't believe I voted for this guy. Why not actually be a leader and say no thanks to the taxpayer paid party.

The best 8 years of my life, good thing I stashed some gold away for the upcoming challenges.
Why is it losers complain so much?

Most Expensive In History:
I just read where this Inauguration will be the most expensive in history. Why can't the a** hold just have himself sworn in instead of wasting millions of fast vanishing taxpayers dollars to show how important he is.

Freddie and Warren, I may watch a few minutes of it. I am sure that you will be there and Warren will be standing by his friend Teddy.

JTP1,
Nice post, but I would suggest that you get to know some of the people that post back and forth before you pass judgment. Most of us do try to do something about out politicians. Some of our banter back and forth is among people that know how we post and we know what the other is saying.
We need to get involved but none of us want to soil our hands with crap of politics only the honest dirt of our chosen passion Motor Oil.
How about telling us just how involved you are and what you are doing to help the country? Any military service? Any running for a local office or anything else to try and get involved?

 John,
No offence whatever taken. You profile just showed nothing and I wondered if you were another of the hands out and do nothing but criticize type. I owe you the apology and hope you will accept it.
I sold my Cobra a few years ago as my health was a problem but I still miss it. You will find many people on here that are more than willing to help you and answer any questions about any cars that you may be interested in. If you are looking for used one, look in the For Sale section and also Cobra Country has several normally listed. I sincerely hope that you are able to get a Cobra back while you can enjoy it.

Please boys and girls, let's not fight over who or whom have contributed more to our country,... working hardest, most political contibutions, making business, money, the most toys and of course...whos' the smartest.
It's kind of dumb to judge people as being crooks, bad guys, wise, very smart, and or who's the biggest contributor to America based on very little actual information.
If a person has not served in the military it doesn't mean that person is a less valued American, maybe that person has a business and has provided employment for many and paid large sums in taxes that benifet millions.
My point is this, when you get to be very old, worked hard all your life, raised a family, paid taxes and have some knowledge of how things have gone over the years ...then you can speak with some authority, with some added value of your life experience and have reasonable judgement about America and it's culture.
Everything that's going on now is nothing new..just wait ..we will be fine.
Bill
Let's hope Obama does a good job..even if you didn't vote for him..he's our President

Bill,
No intent to start an argument on my part. As for old and having paid for years, I have it over everyone on here by centuries.
And please note that I did apologize for his thinking I was coming down on him. All I asked was what he had did as his profile was almost blank. I still believe that if you are going to criticize, you should have at least made an effort to contribute and obviously he has.

JP.......I agree with Ronnie....but......
....then again, I always do! However, to be very honest, I DO have some problems with understanding what you are saying in some of your posts...."running small hands", etc.
Didn't get the "67-72" reference either, although I assumed it was military service.
I agree with Ronnie, you seem to be encouraging us to do something.....
Press on regardless,

So what's your problem? I don't recall you (or anybody else here) complaining about the cost of the Bush inauguration... This looks to me like the 'ol one standard fr the GOP and another for the DNC.

Steve,
The short answer? More than $150 million — and yep, that's the most expensive ever. (By comparison, George W. Bush's 2005 inauguration cost $42.3 million. Bill Clinton managed with $33 million in 1993.)
I am not posting this as the absolute truth, but to me there is quite a bit between Obama's Inauguration and Bushs so far as money wasted.Would you complain more if something cost you $150 Million than if it cost $43 million? No argument, I just don't quite understand what you are trying to say.
