Get this, his 'lawyers' described his as a 'gentle poet', a threat to no one. I guess his poetry book didn't sell?.

What do you want to do with these prisoners? Let them sit there for the next 20 years while the American taxpayer gives them 3 meals a day, and a nice bed to sleep?

Line them all up and shoot them, let them go free, send them to Antarctica, I don't care, but milking the American taxpayer is b.s. Personally, I say we get a cargo plane and let them all go free in the middle of Antarctica. If they can make it out of that frozen wasteland without freezing to death, then Allah must be on their side. If not, then we all have a free conscience that we did the "PC" thing.

Put them all in the general population at Levenworth. They will all be dead within a week. End of problem.

Question

...

It's a dilema. We can't really put the genie back in the bottle, but it started before Bush was elected. Terrorists neither perfectly fall into the prisoner-of-war catagory nor common domestic criminals. Domestic terrorists might be Bloods or Crips. POW can be detained anywhere, I believe.

A lot of detainees have already released by the Bush administration, but as in war, only those that we can be reasonably assured aren't an immediate threat to us or the world. Sometimes it's a toss-up and we don't always guess right.

Good treatise by Linda Chavez:
"President Obama is learning it is a lot easier to reverse unpopular positions of his predecessor than it is to come up with better ones of his own."

Another by Jacob Sullum:
(US), "has released more than 500 of them. 'What's left,' Vice President **** Cheney declared last week, 'is the hard core.' That was right before the Pentagon released half a dozen more."

I'll bet we hear but it is difficult to remember all the ME names. Long sheet just the story. Sentenced for 30 years. Paragraph towards the end:
"Al-Jawary is scheduled to be released Feb. 19 after completing only about half his term, including time served prior to his sentencing and credit for good behavior, according to the federal Bureau of Prisons."

Unbelievable. Timothy McVeigh should have been so lucky.

John,

Why don't they just decide he must be Israeli. I'm sure someone would be waiting for him at the airport. They don't fool around in Israel.

Simple, just push the bastasrds out the airplane door at 35'000 feet and see if they can fly up to Alauh's house in heaven...and pick up their 21 virgins or...... not!

Our leaders got no balls, Bill
