AIG Needs More

Talk about a mess that is going to cost the taxpayers from now on. I wonder how much of the first big bailout went into the pockets of the CEOs and their friends as bonuses. If this keeps up, they will be able to give even their janitors million dollar bonuses. I don't like to see them fail and it would be a disaster, but one that was created by greed and stupidity which still seems to run rampart in Washington.

This is part of the huge entitlement problem we have in this country, and it happens at both ends of the spectrum. We all complain (rightly so IMHO) about the welfare types who suck up what the rest of us make. We rarely complain about the types who do a terrible job but still expect huge salaries and bonuses. This goes against the merit system that this country was built on just as much as the people sucking up welfare do. If you or your company is not doing so well, then you might have to take miss a raise or two, or even take a pay cut. Time for them to wake up and join the real world.
