GM has too many models each struggling to get a share of an ever shrinking market. It is a shame to see GM and Chrysler in this mess but bankruptcy maybe the only way out. Many people are going to get hurt.
I see that Toyota is also now having significant financial difficulties.

Sad, I own a GM truck, a Jeep Wrangler (Chrysler product) and a Dodge truck and they are great vehicles. Lets hope they can come out of this a stronger company.
