As a Canadian I have to ask what part of illegal do your politicians not understand? How can these people be demanding rights, when they are in your country illegally? I'm sorry , but I just don't get it. By the way, I went to the Knott's Berry car show a couple of years ago. We stopped in a McDonald's for a coffee one morning and I swear that we were the only people in the place that were speaking English. 
I visit the US on a regular basis, mostly for personal reasons (I have a boat in Willsboro, NY and I go to some car shows) but also on business. I am always aware that I am a guest in the US and I appreciate the priviledge of being able to to visit your great nation. I am also aware that I have very few rights while I am there. I have the obligation to exit the country and return back to Canada when I said that I would.
