Until today, I didn't know I shared any thing more than a love for Cobras and an interest in those that love Cobras with wtm442. I've been poking around this forum for about a year and remember seeing the gentle kidding between Warren and all his friends here.
Today I found out that a well respected gentleman has passed on, was about my age, and with the same last name as me. I don't know if we were related by blood, but I still feel like I've lost a cousin.
God Bless You Warren.

This is something everyone one should go and sign.
It doesn't take long and will show the family how much Warren meant to us all.

I got to thinking...he really was a great 'enthusiast'!, with all the videos and his intertaining post. He will be missed.

Damn, that sucks. He seemed like such a nice guy.
And still one of the best avatars on the site.
Warren, you will be missed.

Thank you all for your support for wtm442
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say thank everybody for their heartwarming stories and thoughts regarding my uncle, Warren Meyer (wtm442). When I discovered this site and saw the amount of support given, I immediately sent it to my mother and it was exactly what we need to help cope with such an unforunate situation. It touched our hearts in so many ways, seeing how many lives that he touched.
I also wanted to let you know that his beloved Cobra will be kept in our family and will be very well taken care of by my brother, Warren's nephew, who is a car enthusiast himself (and even resembles Warren when he was younger!). He plans to attend the same car shows in our area and I'll even see if we can get him to take a few videos, and I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures! While my brother would give the world to have Warren bless our lives for many more years, he is honored to take on the responsibility of caring for Warren's pride and joy.
Again, thank you so much for your overwhelming support. Those of you who posted in the guestbook to his obituary on the Patriot Ledger website, I wanted to let you know those posts were printed and included as part of Warren's memorial service pamphlet as we wanted to let everyone read how much he touched peoples lives, many without even having to meet them.
Warren was an amazing man and I thank you all for your support. If he crosses your mind or you have any more stories to share, please share with me and I can pass them on to all those who loved him. I can be reached at KMcCarthy25@gmail.com and will also check back on this site.

Warren's 442
One more thing...Warren's project, his 442, will also be well taken care of by his other nephews on Martha's Vineyard where they finish the restoration in his honor.
Thank you all so much.

Katelyn,
Thanks for posting.I wondered if Warren's family knew of his friends here on Club Cobra and the lose we feel too.
He was a wonderful man.
I find myself looking down at the lower righthand corner of the page very often to see if he is logged on.Habit and a wish his WTM442 would magically reappear.
Warren is missed.

Wow,
I just saw this thread today and was unaware that Warren had left us.
I was in Texas for a couple of weeks, so this thread had been dormant until
today so I finally heard the bad news. Will miss his humor, pictures and videos. I enjoyed his pictures of some of New England's scenic locations,
which brought back memories of when I lived there long ago.

Yes he is...Wish I had known about his 442, I had a 67 and it was one of the best cars I've owned. Use to drag race on Friday nights at the local air strip, between airplanes taking off and landing.
If I understand correctly, he was posting on his final day?. says a lot about Warren's life.

Flip,
Welcome back. I see that you found Warren's Guest Book and posted to it. I was going to contact them and keep it on-line permanently but when I went to do so, one of his sisters had already did it. I don't know if it is for a year or permanent though. I really miss him and our chats on the phone.

I invited him along in spirit this weekend for my drive to Wichita Falls TX and I kept catching my self speeding up slowly. I normally cruise along at 75 and generally speaking, no risk for a ticket. I looked down more than once as I was passing 85, 90 and even approaching 100 once. I was thinking of his blasts of speed he liked to do so much and I think my right foot got just a little heavier than normal.

Random images that Warren posted come up on the main CC page every so often when the page refreshes. This is today's image. I used to kid Warren that his Titanium SPF was the most photographed Cobra in history.

That would not surprise me one bit.
He had a knack for putting the car in just the right light in front of spectacular scenery.

That was a great picture. I have a lot of his pictures stored on CDs and some just on a second hard drive that I look at when I want to get an idea. I also really enjoy the ones he sent of historical places and his Cobra was always in them. He loved that car and driving it to the Factory Five bit yearly get together. He even won once with it there.
