That was great news as it unfolded. I think the Navy missed the first opportunity to take the pirates out, but they made good on the next one. Kudos where kudos are due!

Kinda sad and hopefully not the case, but it almost seems like some people would actually have preferred this to have dragged on or gone bad so they could reinforce their positions on Obama's inability to act. When it was looking like a stalemate it was all his fault, now that it is successfully resolved, he had nothing to do with it. Obama is definitely not above or undeserving of criticism, but do some of you guys actually listen to yourselves? Do the words honesty, objectivity and credibility mean anything at all to you?

I give Obama credit if he gave the green light to take out these pirates, but he now needs to follow through and take out their staging areas. He needs to show these thugs that if you screw with a U.S. ship you will be killed.
