Alarm raised over treaty provision to ban activity

President Obama, who supported the handgun ban in Washington, D.C., before it was tossed by the Supreme Court, since his election has watched various proposals to ban "assault" weapons, require handgun owners to submit to mental health evaluations, and sparked a rush on ammunition purchases that caused some retailers to name him their salesman of the year. Now he apparently is going after those to reload their ammunition.
It was during an official visit earlier this month to Mexico that he affirmed his support for a proposed international treaty that addresses "firearms trafficking."
According to a blogger who follows such issues, the treaty was adopted by President Clinton years ago, but never ratified by the U.S. Senate, a goal Obama now has adopted.
The answer is finally here to the real reason why guns and church must mix!
The writer, B.A. Lawson, says, "If you reload your own ammo you may find yourself engaged in 'Illicit Manufacturing' of ammunition under an arms control treaty that President Obama started pushing last week in Mexico."

I guess I will have to dust of my old RCBS press and punch out a few rounds.
Anybody here have some great specs for a 22-250?

Join the NRA!!!
Anyone see Greta's (sp) show on Fox last night with the ATF? pure propaganda. They showed a M-60, M-16, AK-47 which are all illegal unless you have a class three license, and gave the impression to the viewing audience that these were the civilian weapons going down to Mexico (which is actually about 17% not 90% like the Mexican president is spewing in the media). They fired one of the weapons at a bullet resistent vest and acted shocked when it penetrated. I wonder if the audience would be shocked when they found out a .22 rifle will also penetrate the same vest.

Join the NRA. There's a great article in this month's issue of their American Rifleman about all this BS propaganda OB and his cronies are trying to foist off on the great unwashed in America. If we don't band together soon you can kiss all your rights goodbye.

Our rights have been deminishing from 1964 onward ( probably before then, but the 1964 gun law changed a lot of things ). I hope I have the date right.
Do you think they will stop now?

Agree with joining the NRA. Anyone who thinks it can't happen just needs to look at England and other countries where they took the guns away. Who 40 years ago would have thought that cigarettes would be banned from building and taxed as heavy as they are now. It started with a warning on the packaging look how far it has gone. Guns would be registered and then then little by little taxed and finally consfiscated. Also I am just using cigarettes as an example of a legal product. I do not smoke but I beleive people have the right so long as it does not infringe on some else's rights. Chas
