When Hurricane Katrina struck, remember how the deep thinkers on the left complained that President Bush was golfing when the disaster struck? Remember the outrage and indignation from liberals? The calls to impeach President Bush for that reason alone by the Democrats?
(of course, it proved not to be true. President Bush was promoting a medicare plan, not on a golfing vacation)
Where are all those outraged Democrats now? President Obama was GOLFING yesterday as the swine flu epidemic was sweeping the nation and the entire world. Are the brilliant and fair-minded folks over at BO going to call for the impeachment of Obama? Is Air America going to spend hours and hours of programming calling for Obama's head?
Is Keith Olberman going to ridicule Obama day after day?
Of course not. Because they are all hypocrites. Every last one of them.
Watch, you won't hear a peep from the other side about this.
Not a word.
The left (and the Obama administration) are counting on their buddies in the media to cover this up for them (which they will do).
There is a silver lining. See, the Democrats are such elitists, and have such disdain for the intelligence of the average voter, the Democrats think that voters won't remember stuff like this. The Democrats don't think the voters are smart enough to understand that Democrats talk out of both sides of their mouth on everything.
But the truth is that the average voter is taking note these days.
Taking note that the Democratic Party is the party of Hypocrisy.
