Taking a Bulldozer to Talladega
Well its about time that these young guns are finally heard. Jimmy Johnson and Carl Edwards, bearing wisdom apparently fleeting from prior NASCAR rookies like Bill Elliott, Dale Earnhardt, Neil Bonnett and Cale Yarborough, have determined after extensive trial and error (mostly error) that the solution to the problems at Talladega is to renovate it.
With well over 2 miles...how 'bout adding a right turn somewhere other then in pit road! That would slow them down, and make it more interesting. As for the arguement by Nascar that it's (restrictor plate) the best racing...last few races at Sears Point (aka Infenion) have been the best racing in Nascar's modern history.

NASCAR has forgotten what made them what they are. It isn't racing anymore. Just a 43 car IROC race. The cars look like Ricers with picnic tables bolted on the back. I wonder when they will go to 21" wheels?
