Default " Firebird Hood Graphic Table 1970 - 1981 "

" The table below is my attempt at providing the most accurate pictorial possible of the various hood birds used each year from 70-81. Where possible, I have shown different color/hood bird combinations when I have found them but, given the availability of decals in various colors and styles, I cannot guarantee all of the combinations shown were actually offered or produced by Pontiac. My goal is to provide the most accurate information possible. If and when I can find documented evidence a particular color combination was never offered I will remove it or perhaps add it to a "fantasy" section for owners that own a particular color Firebird and might wonder what different color birds would look like on their car. "

Only two GM cars impressed me, the 1967 442 which I owned and enjoyed, and the 70's Firebirds that I never owned, but wish I had.

Did you notice that as the cars got slower, the decals got bigger.
