Ebay, they look like stock covers from late 60s that have been blasted and painted matt silver.

The give away is the wire loom bracket in the middle of the cover.

The early 221/260/298 covers have been reproduced. The style shown here have the raised area at the rear of the cover. These were used up to 63 IIRC. After late 64 they gained a hole for the oil filler cap as the oil filler tube was removed from the front cover to allow the larger diameter alternator and well as other items.

The Shelby team cars ran these with extended tubes welded on to raise the breathers to prevent oil being pushed out of them. They were often painted with Ford "Argent Silver" paint which is still avilable as well as other dull silver colors

Fran has them as well as the "Shelby" decals and the repro oil caps.

How do I contact him. I can't find a site for him that obviously sells these things. Any help would be appreciated.
