Been around for a couple of years and I think it is an awesome design. Get rid of door dings completely.

The Kaiser Darrin is GRP (fibreglass) just like the Corvette. I've seen a couple of them in person and they are pretty neat.

Ron,
They only made a few hundred between '53 and '54 IIRC, but I have no idea what they are worth these days.

This was on display in one of our autditoriums. It was need then.

Nice to see they used the Fox in downtown for their video.

Seems to me I saw a K-D that same color on one of the auto auctions. Don't know if it was Barret, Jackson or some other. Saw the car when I was a kid.
Kaiser had a whole family of brands. Kaiser-Darin, Kaiser-Frazier, Kaiser, Henry J, maybe more.

I've seen that promo before...and it's still cooler than an ice truckers nuts!
I had a Mark VIII..and they picked a perfect car to showcase the technology. It had very long doors, and was still a PITA to get in/out..especially the back seat.
