Under the Democrats' health care bill, if a medical school wants to increase its chances of receiving many different kinds of grants and contracts from the federal government, it should have a demonstrated record of training individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups. This is because the Democrats' health care bill requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to give preference to the entities that have demonstrated such a record in the awarding of these contracts to medical schools and other institutions.

Ok I got about 3/4 through that list and was so disgusted I didn't want to finish. I hope enough senators read it and don't sign.

The same thing happened to me - I got down to businesses having to provide insurance for part-time employees and their families - what a mess that will be with part time people coming and going, plus the expense will prompt employers not to hire part-time.

This is why BO is pushing so hard to 'get it done'. He has delayed financial reporting (because it bears bad news about jobs and the 'recovery' via the stimulus) and is leaning on the blue dogs by campaigning against them (his own party!) because they are balking. A little not-so-subtle arm twisting, that. But with all the polls headed south for him, he realizes that the honeymoon is just about over. Add to that that the people that actually read & study the darn thing are lining up NO, it's not a pretty picture. I am STILL amazed that the fact that the Congressional Budget Office said the plan would drive UP prices is not being discussed widely. Must be nice to have the MSM slobbering all over you and all you do. BoBo is gonna get a rude awakening...the ground is coming up fast and sooner or later he is going to realize he is without a parachute.

Face your fears.....think how happy you will be - you will know what's in it as it goes down in flames. Keep in mind, it's so bad that democrats are having a problem with it, especially blue dog democrats that are up for election in 2010 - now that's bad!

By the way, Dick Morris was on Hannity last night - he stated that being a Socialist Country is really a statistic - how much of the GNP is run directly by the federal government - if cap and trade (tax) passes, along with health care, America will be close to 45% controlled by the fed government - very close to France.

If cap and tax and health reform can be stopped, Obama can be stopped.

Normal Disclaimer: Anything said in this post is my own opinion and feelings and is not meant to incite a round of flaming and fights.

It is hard to read almost any part of that bill and not want to get rid of the Washington Gang. I have sent more e-mails to my Senators and Representatives in the past 6 months than in the past 6 years trying to get them to vote no on this disaster. The only answer that i ever received was that one of our prestigious and god like Senators hadn't had time to read it and was relying on her many highly trained aides, most likely family members, to keep her informed. They are so out of touch with the real world that they need to be kicked out of office, stripped of their big pensions and perks and made to live like normal people for a few years.

I made it to where the Tax will not be treated as a Tax but I started checking out when it required people to open up their bank accounts to the government. I will stop banking at that point with any bank. I will never open up my personal account to anyone to be able to take what they want when they want. HMMMM we are short on the budget this year, lets just tap into Savings Accounts It is only 5% of the savings, the people will still be fine. Next will be 10% for additional HC services, and 2% of everyones savings for a new Air Force One toilet Seat, of course we would have to pay the transfer fees on each of these, and an administrative fee to the government.
