When you do your "Deputy Gestapo," report, stop at the whitehouse.gov. site and look at L Douglass's example of the lying put downs by right wingers. She says that obummer NEVER said he was for a single payer system or that anyone would lose their present coverage.
Yet there are multiple tapes on the net AND in possession of ALL news media showing obummer saying exactly that, MANY times.

An administration that lies to the Nation, CANNOT be a good administration. And this bunch not only lies CONSTANTLY and about everything. Even worse than they are at foreign policy, and they are the pitiful laughing stock of the entire world when it comes to foreign policy.

1. I can see no other way out of this mess other than to raise taxes and of course cut spending. The US has been running significant deficits for the past 7 or 8 years as the last surpluses were under Clinton. Since Obama has been spending like a druken sailor, cutting costs isn't likely.

2. As a non-American, I can say that in general, the rest of the world actually has a better opinion of the US since the change of administrations. I believe that the people that are most upset with Obama's foreign policies are the hard core, right wing Republicans. Personally, I think that Obama set totally unattainable expectations for himself and he is almost certain to fail in some areas. I also believe that it is too early to judge whether or not his foreign policies are good or bad. Time will tell.

He seems to be more interested in giving prime time speeches on TV rather than getting the job done, however. The international press was in love with the new President but now after about 6 months in power, we are beginning to see opinions come out that are more critical. I recently read an article that basically said that he is very good at campaigning, but now he has to stop campaigning and begin leading. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

I could care less what the rest of the world thinks about us. Only the liberals seem to think it's a priority to make the rest of the world love us. The rest of the world always comes running anytime they need help, but the rest of the time they talk crap about us. Screw them...

I guess as a Canadian you just don't understand. Both of my grandfathers fought in WW2 to free Europe, my father fought in Vietnam and I fought in the Middle East to free Kuwait. Both of my grandfathers were wounded, and I have service connected health problems that I will live with the rest of my life. I have friends that returned in a box. As a Canadian I do get it. While I never served in the military, I have many relatives that did serve. Except for Viet Nam and Iraq, the Canadian military has been right there beside the US, Britian, Austrailia, and the other allies in WWI, WWII, Korea, etc. While many people in the Middle East do hate the US, Canadians certainly are not to be included as you insinuate. We have much more in common than we have different.

I respect you and all service men and women that fight for our countries and make sacrifices for the freedom that we enjoy. Unfortunately far too many Canadians have been coming home in boxes from Afganistan lately.

You can actually see Obamawaves in his logo - they transmit in the red-state-red end of the spectrum and they will make you paranoid. This is 100% true - I read it on World Net Daily.

The Bush administration also encouraged people to report their neighbours for suspicious activity, like praying to a different god than you, or having a tan and a beard.

Roosevelt's administration wanted to know about anybody with squinty eyes who ate a lot of rice.

People are basically afraid of what they don't understand, and most people don't understand all that much.
