Default Yep 15" wheels

I'm going for as original look, sound, feel as I can get. When I build the 427 for it, it will have a original ford solid lifter cam.

I do have a question that I've been thinking about. Maybe your buddies would comment on it. The last metalic car I painted I remember it was really important that you spray adjacent panels from the same angle so the flakes lay down properly. If you don't one panel will look light and the other dark from one angle and just the opposite from the other. So I'm thinking I need to paint it with the hood doors and trunk in more or less their final location to avoid this? Whereas if you were painting a solid color you could just hang the doors etc. and shoot. What do you think about that? Am I being paranoid or is it really a concern?

Later, Chuck

I'll ask but I don't think it's that critical, they paint almost everything when it's apart, but come to think of it hoods and deck lids are laid flat, and the doors are hung from stands. The biggest promblem would be from altering air pressure and spray method (really hosing it on flat panels and spraying lighter on vertical panels) but most base coats are not hosed on anyway. Talked to Peter today and mine should be done on friday. So hopefully monday the shipper can pick it up. See you, Charlie
