Default MO Registration

I am beginning a Cobra project and need to learn about the registration requirements in the State of Missouri.

I've found the link to Jeff City files from the MACC.org site. Searched and found two documents.

1) Reading the one on titling, it appears all I need to take to get the car inspected is the copy of the invoice from the kit manufacturer. Is that correct or will I need more?

2) Reading the document on inspection, it looks like cars prior to 1970 are excluded from emissions. I saw another site that said Missouri titles on appearance, so the vehicle would be titled as a kit, 1965/66 something like that.

Can anyone save me some search and heartache time to determine what I will need for this process.

Thanks

Here is some info for you: http://www.moga.state.mo.us/statutes...3010000132.HTM

As a Missouri resident, I'm absolutely sure that if you walk into the DOR and talk with an *expert at the counter for clairification one day, then go in and talk to someone else the next day, you'll get two different answers--THEN, after choosing whichever answer seems correct to you, later upon your attempted registration you'll run into a snag for sure.

Good luck--I'm very interested in what you find out!
